Tours of the award-winning sewers, which run from May until September, have become established as a highly popular attraction for tourists and local residents.

The Sewer Tour lasts approximately one hour and starts under the Palace Pier, in Brighton, and emerges back at ground level through a manhole in the middle of the Old Steine Gardens.

During the tour you will see part of the sewer system, which disposes of approximately 100 million litres (22 million gallons) of wastewater each day from the Brighton area.

The minimum age for tours is 11 years old and visitors will be required to wear suitable clothing (trousers) and footwear and asked to climb and descend ladders.

The museum has been located in Boscastle for over forty years and is amongst Cornwall’s most popular museums.

It is the policy of the Museum to display items relating to witchcraft and magic. They bias toward Cornish and English artifacts but are not exclusive.

There are many artifacts in the collection that could offend but as a museum they strive to remain impartial and show all aspects of the subject. The museum aims to demonstrate the beliefs and practices of witches past and present.

The Museum of Witchcraft is located by The Harbour in Boscastle, Cornwall. Boscastle is on the North coast of Cornwall between Tintagel and Bude.

The exhibition includes restraining equipment, a padded cell, photographs dating from 1862 plus medical and surgical equipment and documents.

There is also a scale model of the original 1818 building built by a former curator of the museum based on the original plans and drawings.

The museum is open each Wednesday, from 10.00am to 4.00pm. Entrance is free.

There are adequate wheel chair facilities and adjacent free parking.
